Isher Deol, a first generation Canadian, was born in Surrey, BC to her loving parents who both immigrated to Canada from Punjab, India in the early 70s. Isher worked as a Certified Public Health Inspector for over 10 years serving the communities of Yukon, Richmond, Chilliwack, North Vancouver and Vancouver. Over this decade, she developed a strong resume advocating for the public, identifying service improvement opportunities, and ensuring that delivered services meet their priorities. She served as a trusted advisor and a key point of contact for clinical, business, and IT stakeholders, and proactively engaging with stakeholders regarding service changes, requirements, and challenges.
Throughout her life, Isher has always valued hard work, ethics, respect, empathy, self reflection, strong family bonds, unconditional love and transparent communication. Isher is a commissioned Notary Public in British Columbia and is a member of the Society of Notaries Public of BC. She is also an active member in the local community, a wife to Nathaniel Payne and mother to Cameron and Nisha.
